How the heat score works
Each ticket gets a score from 0 to 100. A little under half of it comes from money: the prize money still unclaimed compared with what it would cost to buy every ticket left. The rest comes from sell-through, because a game that is mostly sold with a top prize still out is a better bet than a fresh one. Five flames means 90 or higher, four means 80, three means 70. It is a ranking, not a prediction; no ticket has a positive expected return.
